Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Avenue, Neighborhood Sushi serves high quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. Happy hour and-a-half will offer food and beverage specials weekdays 3pm - 5pm throughout the entire restaurant.

Our front door is on the neighborhood facing side, in the Annie Street parking lot. Look for a black-stained door with a white and wood light-box sign. Our host will be waiting inside to welcome you! ADA accessible entry through the Sake Garden on the Congress sidewalk.

We ate at 9pm. Service was very slow in the beginning. Took about 20 minutes to get a drink after sitting down. Maybe a server called in sick and she had to work extra tables I’m not quite sure. I’ve eaten here before and the service was excellent. We tried a lot of nigiri. Everything was good besides the Wagyu nigiri. That was actually pretty bad. Overcooked and little on the cold side. Spent 424$ on nigiri so had a good amount to try out.

Management and guest services were awesome and helped out with some discomfort. Very accommodating and still one of my favorite sushi spots :)

Wasn’t greeted, granted it was NYE, but it took nearly 15ish minutes before waiter came over to give hand towels. This is our favorite sushi restaurant and we will be returning but service was a little sub par last night. Otherwise INSANE food and we loved it!

Overall incredible experience and great food, but the best part of our visit was our waitress Kailyn (probably butchering the spelling of that). She was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic and it made our whole experience that much better. The front of house manager needs to give her a raise! If you ever go to Neighborhood sushi ask for her as your waitress.

All of our dishes were absolutely delicious! We really enjoyed our time at dinner last night. Service was quite slow, though, we waited for our appetizers for about 30 minutes after that, though, everything else came out relatively quickly. Look forward to coming back!

One of my favorite restaurants in Austin! Lived here for years and whenever I come back it is top of my list. Their vegetable nigiri is so unique and delicious- as a fish lover, veggie sushi doesn’t usually move the needle for me, but the corn and shishito nigiri here are a must. The food is simple, fresh, and so delicious. And the cocktails are so refreshing and tasty!
