   Base info: we love NS at Preston and sometimes Addison. First time in Frisco. Ambiance is great, attractive restaurant. In the Omni, should be packed at 8 on Saturday night but it was 25% full at best. Drinks were very good. 2 slightly dirty vodka martinis were perfect. Food was poor. Food took more than 30 mins and it was not busy at all. My wife had halibut, it was overcooked and very dry, Jasmine rice was fine. I had chicken fried steak, it was over also over cooked but the mashed potatoes were good. Both were huge disappointments. Service was poor. Host was great, seated at a booth. Waitress was sweet but demure and soft spoken. She has to be fairly inexperienced. My water was empty for 15 mins (at least) and my martini glass was empty for at least the same time. I wasn’t subtle and pushed the glasses to the edge of the booth and was looking around for her. Our used plates also sat in unattended and i ended up pushing to the edge of the table as well. Manager no where to be found and I was actively looking. Overall, complete waste of $170. NS in Frisco TX should be packed on Sat night and there are good reasons it wasn’t. Wont be back.

   Decent experience. Would take a little more attention from the service staff and would like fries that are least warm. However it was a great setting for a lunch meeting to be able to hear each other talk.

   The restaurant's performance has been inconsistent over the past four years. Unfortunately, this occasion was mostly a miss. Server was nice but seemed preoccupied the whole evening. "Last samurai" cocktail was crafted with rancid mixer. Little gem, Caesar and wedge salads were both fantastic. scallops, pot pie entrée and special gnocchi were fine. The red fish special entrée was awful. The fish was a Luke warm, underseasoned "mushy" mess. Sweet potato hash was cold and mushy as well. Frisee salad was served in large unmanageable pieces. My guest ordered banana pudding for her birthday dessert. The meringue was fantastic but the pudding was made from imitation banana flavoring. She mentioned her dissatisfaction to the server but no replacement was provided nor was the item comped for her birthday.

   We have been coming here almost weekly- this time the Manager who I’ve never seen before was a complete jerk. I’ve never been treated that poorly at a restaurant. Not going back to many good restaurants to be treated badly by this one.

   Excellent meal as usual. Maria was our server and was wonderful. We made it for brunch so my spouse had eggs, toast and potatoes. I had my favorite, the Avocado BLT, and brussels. So big we took half home! Yummy meal!
