   Management may want to consider customer service training. The staff are very pleasant but there were not enough staff on the floor, and they are not poised in customer service for restaurants. Good young people need training in best practice for wait staff. We should not have to ask for napkins and get a small paper napkin for a cocktail instead of a cloth napkin with silverware. We waited too long for the waitress to come and ask if we wanted drinks. The food arrived in a timely fashion. The eggs were scrambled hard, and we asked for scramble medium. The crab critters were terrible filled with cornbread and very little if any crab and they were dry. The grits were good, but they were blown out and over cooked where they were almost pudding. They had no texture. The people around our table we shared our food with as it was taking too long for their food to arrive. We happen to know them and shared in fellowship with them. It's a new restaurant with potential and a lot to learn.

   I had the catfish and grits and it was awesome. Grits were creamy and catfish was fresh. Lavender mimosa was my favorite. The best mimosa ever. Raspberry vegan cheesecake was just ok. The service isn’t the fastest so have patience. Overall everything was excellent from ambiance, our server, food and drinks. I will definitely return.

   It was almost quaint until a ladies retirement party came in. too energetic. i mean, congrats to whoever was having the party but there were other people in the restaurant and all i could hear was what was going on at their tables. the food was great! hush puppies, amazing. french toast, perfection. eggs were even fluffy and tasted like quality ingredients. the biscuits were good. super dense. you could feel the weight of this sizable pastry before you put it to your mouth. the waitress was super knowledgeable and adaptive. i had no idea what i wanted but i was able to tell her what i was in the mood for and she helped me create a brunch i was happy to take home. the only thing i would change is the level of oil or butter or whatever is used in each dish. the buttery taste was making me nauseas after awhile. then again, it could have just been my sensitive stomach. i didn't know what the sample sauces were that came with the meal but i didn't need any of them because the quality of food was definitely hitting my taste buds. if you're the kinda person that needs sauce with your food, you may want to try some of these without them 1st.

   Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. It started out a little rocky, but then our server Dominique, Manager Zee and Chef Donden made sure our food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this place. The food and drinks were excellent. Plus, it's reasonably price.

   It was my first time visiting and we had a great time and a great meal. All of the food was delicious, we had a variety of things with 5 people and nothing disappointed from the potato croquettes and wings appetizers, to salmon and pasta entrees. Dessert was delicious too - we tried the chocolate cake and the bananas foster bread pudding with ice cream. Will come back soon!

   Nafsi is an endearingly cozy and quaint space with a hint of New Orleans brunch bistro, aesthetically. Seating is intimate but not overcrowded. The enclosed external space has additional tables and the bar. A fantastic DJ was also setup out there setting the tone for more of a party atmosphere. It was lively! The external space also has a fantastic view of the beach. I felt transported to a different place, perhaps a coastal beach soul/creole/cajun brunch spot in the French Quarter (even though THEY don’t even have anything like that). I look forward to returning during warmer days in the daytime to take in the views, sounds, and of course enjoy the food!

   The food was scrumptious and the service was excellent! We luv the ambience and the music was a nice surprise. I’m misspelling our servers name, Jayson. However, he made our dinner extra special. We will be back for brunch, dinner and drinks soon!

   My husband and I ate at Nafsi for the first time in March 2025. We're vegetarians/vegans, so we were happy to see a few options for us. We thought the potato croquette appetizer was excellent. My husband thought his vegan burger with fries entree was good. Whereas, I gave my grilled catfish and grits entree a very good. You can have your catfish order fried, grilled and/or another option. The chocolate cheese and rasberry cheese cakes were excellent. Our server was professional, friendly, and attentive, and the ambience was great. We plan to recommend Nafsi to our friends and eat at Nafsi often.
