   Good menu and pricing. Like having the small plates staggered, but vegetable plate came out basically when meal was over. Would recommend the wait staff ask the diners how and when would like the plates delivered. By the time the restaurant got full, it was very noisy- difficult to converse.

   Food was paced out well as we put more orders in. The Sangria is one of my favorites in Milwaukee. Staff was attentive and took good care of us. Another good night here.

   Food was outstanding but service was disorganized. Took a very long time for anyone to come to the table after we’d been seated—15 minutes? We finally had to stop someone, who brought us water and must have alerted our waitress. Then a second person arrived with water AGAIN about 3 minutes later. Unable to fulfill request for a Bloody Mary because those are only served in the morning!? Waitress was pretty unfamiliar with the menu. That said, once the orders were put in everything flowed well. We used the scan option to pay the check and realized there is an 18% service charge already added (for four people). We definitely found that inappropriate! Upon returning home and looking at our receipt, we also realized that one of our items, the empanadillas (granted, only a $3 item), was never delivered. While the food was great, I might hesitate to return.

   Approximately 9/16/24, I submitted a 1 star ⭐️ rating for Movida, which had been one of our favorite restaurants in Milwaukee for quality of overall experience - beautiful ambiance, friendly and efficient service and delicious food taste and presentation. I will not repeat the reason for the 1 star ⭐️ rating of our 9/15/24 dining experience, but it was quickly addressed by a phone call follow-up by Sean (Manager) who listened to my issues of our very disappointing experience and apologized and said they all would be addressed and resolved. He was very attentive and wanted to correct to ensure we would continue to be patrons of Movida. Upon our first return visit (with our out-of-town friends last evening 11/30/24) since our unfortunate 9/15/24 experience, Movida did not disappoint. I rated Movida a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. The ambiance of course had not changed and the food quality was spot on and delicious and the service provided by Emily was “best in class” -she was friendly, personable and very attentive. Thank you Movida for coming back to us with your much deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. We look very much forward to our next visit and will now continue to recommend to friends.

   There was only one waitress. The food was all wrong. We were a small group of 4, and they added on a 18% service charge. I would have given more but l was applauded with this charge. There was very little service and servers were a bit rude when we stay that was what we ordered nor was it how we ordered it. I took 3 girls from Spain here as they miss their homeland and food. I definitely was embarrassed for the restaurant as they were looking forward to everything.

    Good. But need to bring the pork chop back and add some stuff other than toast to the happy hour menu.
