Went for the Christmas Buffet. Some of the options had already ran out when we got there. What I saw on the menu prior did not fully reflect what I ate. The selection of sides were rather small. The charcuterie display was nice, but I think more effort should go into the mains and sides. The dessert display was interesting. They were on bookshelves and had many options. Unfortunately, the desserts I had were lacking in flavor. What we ate did not justify the price. The staff were pleasant and attentive, but I would not recommend this buffet for Christmas dinner.

The whole family loved it! It ended up being the perfect, coziest Christmas dinner. Not too pretentious, just homey. Almost like being at home. Thanks!

Overall the food was okay. However, there were not enough chicken options. Also, the salmon ran out and I had a 5:30 seating. The meal was not a $70 meal.

Service was not so great. One waitress was extremely friendly, but she wasn’t mine. She was the only nice person working. Food was not good definitely not worth the price. The salad bar was a joke, who puts the lettuce out like it’s a decoration!? Instead of in bowls to serve out of that was disgusting on the edge of the table!

This was the best Christmas Day Buffet that we’ve experienced in the 6 years that we’ve lived in the Savannah area. The food, desserts and service was outstanding. Our server George was attentive and knowledgeable. Usually, at these types of events, banquet servers are used and there’s not a lot of interaction with the guest. However, George was the opposite. He truly understood the assignment and performed it with ease. With that said, I have one complaint. We were well into our meal and a table of 6 appeared along with their very large dog in a baby carriage. I wouldn’t normally complain, however, this party was put right in front of the food. What upset my guests and me was the fact that one of the party from that table took the dog in the carriage and rolled him very slowly past the food as the diner perused the delicious options. We addressed our concerns with the management and, of course, their hands were tied because the law states that you can’t question someone about their “service” dog. I completely understand as I spent 12 yrs as a hotelier. I get it. However, the law distinguishes between a “service” dog and a “companion” dog. Service dogs are working. They are not in a carriage. Strangers cannot pet or talk to them. That was not the case in this experience. It’s really unfortunate because an otherwise amazing meal was almost ruined by the unhygienic, unsanitary appearance of this animal. I say “almost” because we refused to have our wonderful time tainted by an inconsiderate guest. My suggestion would be to seat these people with animals as far away from the food as possible. This way, diners won’t feel so uncomfortable.

Staff was great—truly trying to make the most of a very disorganized Christmas buffet event—and get special commendation for showing up on Christmas Day. However, some of the food was absolutely dreadful, specifically the prime rib which was extremely dry and tough (overcooked) and the mussels, 80% of which were not open, seemed like a safety hazard. Bar was not open as there were no bartenders available, which wasn’t the end of the world but a Christmas feast would have been made better with a cocktail or glass of wine. Desserts were a highlight, though.

Disappointed that there was a very limited menu. We did not know about this in advance. Our favorites were not on the menu. The hamburger was very good, but that was my first choice.

We were there for Thanksgiving buffet. Not tradition offerings. How can you have thanksgiving dinner without pumpkin pie?!!! Food was ok, for the price, we expected higher quality.
