   I recently dined at Morton's, The Steakhouse - Arlington, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an extraordinary meal from the moment I walked in. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture that melted in my mouth. It was seasoned just right, enhancing the meat's natural flavors without overpowering them. The seafood was equally delightful. The grilled lobster was succulent and fresh, and it was rich and buttery, perfectly complemented by a light, tangy sauce. The service was impeccable as well. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty.

   We were running late due to DC traffic. We called and made the restaurant aware and was told they were all booked and would have to cancel our reservation 15 min past our reservation time. When we arrived, we were told to be seated in the bar area, because no tables were available. While we were at our seats, the service was very slow. I had to go to the bar to get someone over to our table. As the night progressed, there about 8 or more tables near us that never had a customer during the time we were there. If the restaurant was busy as they made it to be, with each table filled, we would have accepted the table.

   My experience is always awesome! This is my go to spot for good steaks, dinner and the atmosphere. Everyone works in a very professional manner and service is top notch! A special thank you to the general manager for always making sure things are going well.

   Food was delicious. Went for restaurant week and had to ask for the restaurant week menu. Steak had to be sent back twice but overall still really good food. The lobster ravioli is very good.

   I’ve had dinner at Morton’s at least a dozen times over the years, and while this was still overall a “good” experience it fell short of the consistently excellent experience I’ve had in the past. I think the experience we had was a result of being slammed from Restaurant Week. Our waiter didn’t present us with the restaurant week menus which was a very assumptive upsell. The famous onion loaf bread was stale (first time I’ve ever experienced this at a Mortons). We had to consistently remind our waiter who would forget things like an extra loaf of bread (a party of 5 shouldn’t have to ask). I felt like our waiter was more concerned with the upsells (water, butter additions etc. than delivering great service. I will be returning to Morton’s again, just not this location in Arlington VA.
