Beautiful and delicious five course meal. Unique from start to finish with interesting flavors. Wine pairing was perfect. Lovely atmosphere in a warm setting with a wonderful crackling fire. Sunset was spectacular looking through large windows. We loved every minute. Highly recommended.

This was the one of the most wonderful magical surprise experiences I have ever had! To have such incredible, thoughtful, delicious, meal out in a little cabin style home on the lake was pure magic. I had no idea what I was getting into and was a little worried about the deposit just because nothing else in the area can compare, but it was so worth it! I could go into detail about the food but they say the menu rotates constantly with the fresh ingredients on hand. 11/10 recommend worth a trip out. 40 min from mammoth lakes

It was our first time at the Mono Inn and it didn’t disappoint. Chef Jason and his entire team were outstanding. The food was creative and delicious. I was a little worried that I might still be hungry with a 3-course meal but I was stuffed. The pre-appetizer and post-desert tastings were amazing and brought the meal full-circle for a surprising and excellent experience. The team of servers, bartenders and the sommelier worked together so well and made us feel welcomed and like old friends. I look forward to going again soon.

Running through yelp to find a place to eat after snowboarding at June and came across this gem. On our hotel email they warned there is very limited eating options in this area so my expectations were low. However when I seen the Mono Inn add, I was intrigued by the food pics. Looked at a few reviews and I have always wanted to try this preset menu style of dinning. Talked to my wife and we were in! This was an absolute eating experience! The views at sunset were amazing on a windy day with funnels of water being spun across the surface. The fire place was crackling near our table providing the much wanted heat to warm our chilled bones after a day on the slopes. We were celebrating our 34th Valentine’s Day together and this made me feel safe that I made a great choice to spend time. The meal was a story told upon each courses presentation by the Chef and his team. From the delectable drinks to the delicate bites it was an absolute pleasure to push ourselves to what we were not prepared to handle. By the end we were so very full and satisfied we had such a hard time not eating every crumb on our plates. By the time the meal circled back to how it began, our mouthes were busy talking about all the different flavors we experienced that brought back both childhood memories of dishes from our culture and fresh or new tastes we never thought to mesh together. My only criticism was simply that I prefer my protein on the medium rare side so while the flavor was amazing I felt the desire to have it cooked less. Leaving the intention up to the chef and trusting his choice on presentation. The service was top notch with friendly warm smiles with the patience to explain each dish while taking the time to answer our questions. The price is well worth it because like I read in another review this is low key the best way to experience a Michelin level restaurant before everyone else finds out and it gets certified! Don’t sleep on this one. Just go!
