Excellent food and server was very attentive after a slow start (was occupied with several nearby tables so took a while to get to everyone). Live music was a bit too loud for a while but overall ambiance was pleasant.

Put this restaurant on your list when in Maui! My wife and I had the special, pink snapper, along with the fish and lobster pasta, both were fantastic! The restaurant is open air, very casual, with live music, and to top it off service was great by our waitress!!

We’ve been to Sonz steakhouse and plantation house. This was our 3rd meal of the trip and it was amazing. Get the lobster deviled eggs, cornbread, macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi and the pork tacos. Best restaurant of the trip so far.

We are very fond of Monkey Pod, especially the Wailea location. Food and drinks we very good. Music was terrific. I don’t recall this location being so bright. In the main dining room, the lighting is at the equivalent of an operating room. I would strongly suggest management consider ways to dim the lighting for evening meals. Our table joked that we needed to wear sunglasses at dinner, which was at 8:30 in the evening.

Always one of our favorites when we are here on Maui. Pro tip: if you can’t get a reservation for sunset or even dinner, you can usually get one between 2 PM and 3:30 PM. A great time to be there, and never quite as crowded.

Love the ambiance, (we could have sat there all day) the live music and food! We went for a late lunch and had tacos and saiman. My daughter loved the tacos.. Korean bbq (?), definitely some spice there, the saiman was not what I expected however my bias should not deter anyone from trying it! The texture of the noodles was lovely, I just wasn’t sure about the broth- not quite pho and not quite ramen, the herb mixture had me confused. We definitely highly recommend the sorbet ♥️. Yum. Our waiter James was amazing, super attentive and friendly, made the lunch even better! Thank you!
