   One of the best dining experiences in quite awhile. The food was amazing. Brussels sprouts , basil/mint pesto gnocchi, sea bass. All perfect. Dell, our server is a total pro and made great recommendations. Great service is so rare now and I really appreciated his knowledge, attentiveness, and timing. Chris, the GM was so gracious in an after dinner cocktail recommendation. A perfect ending to a delightful night.

   Had a very nice dinner and overall time at Modena. It's a hip space and our server was great. The perfect amount of chit chat but not too chatty. I enjoyed his stories and he steered us wisely. The focacio was quite good. I thought the polpette was a nice, sharable portion. An the bolognese was great. Will happily go back!

   We did happy hour at the bar. Very well priced and my cocktail was delicious, not at all watered down like in other happy hours. It was also very quiet which was nice. The bartender Darwin is the best! He is very attentive, very friendly and mixes great drinks!

   Hadn't been to Modena in a while, and the experience last night (business dinner) was terrific. Everyone liked the food, the service was extremely efficient - didn't once have to ask for water glasses to be filled. I will find a reason to come back more often.

   I have been to Modena before for drinks only. This was my first time dining. Honestly it was AMAZING. The food, the service, the ambience. I will be back. The pesto gnocchi were truly memorable.

   Some of the dishes were almost indelible. Some were okay. Perhaps it was a bad night for the kitchen. Something was wrong. First time eating there and will not go back. DC has many great restaurants. Suggest skipping this one

    Everything was amazing. We had a wonderful meal and our waiter was incredible. He made excellent wine and meal suggestions and explained all the dishes to us. All the staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.
