   Our server was amazing, made sure we liked our food and our wine. We didn’t love our entrees but that was not necessarily the restaurants fault. The wine and the lamb poutine appetizer was spectacular. Overall it we had a great time and would go back but chose different entrees.

   I usually don’t submit a review but I had to in this case. I heard from several sources including Yelp which I highly respect that this was a top Montreal restaurant. It highly disappointed my wife and I. I will start with the few positives. The waiter and service was nice. It was in a great section of Old Montreal. However, the tables were on top of each other. You had no privacy at all. In fact two tables away they were talking so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself think. I picked their signature dish which was the rack of lamb. It was horrible. It had maybe two bites of meat. It was so disappointing. My wife had the only chicken dish and it was so bland. We wanted to just leave and find a place to get nice dessert. Two thumbs down for this restaurant.

   Wonderful bistro. As advertised, for sure. Classic cuisine in a cozy setting. Steak Tartar was totally on point and delicious. Mussels were perfect. Jazz ensemble was really terrific. Service was attentive and friendly. Great choice.

   Overall excellent experience. Our server Christian was extremely patient with all our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad, sweetbreads, duck confit, Foie gras, and the lamb cavatelli pasta. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend and will return upon my next visit.

   We probably should’ve gotten the house specialty which was lamb but instead we got the risotto and the pasta which was average. The service was wonderful and the music was excellent! We would definitely return again and try different dishes
