   The food and drinks were delicious..some items were too salty..the Mac and cheese and the fried seafood rice to be exact. The front door service was trash!! There should always be someone at the front! They were leaving going to get orders from the back, waiting tables, cleaning tables and not tending to the waiting customers in a timely fashion. Too much multi-tasking was going on. More staff obviously needs to be hired. And omg please get some bigger 2 seater tables… you have to make life changing decisions to place your food items on the petite tables. Thank you.

   I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Ms. Toya’s Southern Kitchen! The food was delicious and flavorful, the drinks were on point and the service was A plus! I will be back!

   The restaurant was busy as Valentine’s Day was approaching. My table was dirty even after I requested for it to be cleaned. The gumbo was tasty but lacked spice.

   My experience for the first time was amazing. My Friend and I met for lunch. We ordered stuffed shrimp 10/10 just a little spicy, deep fried salmon bites 10/10, Caesar salads with chicken and another with Salmon 6/10. I was not aware that the Caesar salad was vinaigrette based. I am not a fan of vinaigrette dressings so I was pleased with the taste. However the salmon was delicious and salad mix was very fresh. I would go again and recommend others.

   It was a vibe on a Saturday for lunch with friends! Delicious, friendly staff and grey service— we can’t wait to go back! The fried deviled eggs with blackened shrimp was supreme! Lots of great choices and energy was fabulous!

    It's one of the places I enjoy treating myself to for self care. I like trying something new on each visit, today it was fried Catfish which I really enjoyed. Today I was at the Laurel location vs the one downtown Silver Spring. I enjoy this location for their happy hour starts at 3pm vs 6pm at the downtown Silver Spring location.
