   We had a reservation for 14 at Mimi’s Café for Mother’s Day, but upon arrival, we were mistakenly directed to a table already occupied by another group. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a proper setup ready for us. The staff offered a table for 8 and a nearby booth, which would have split our group. We chose to sit all together at the 8-person table, even though it was a tight fit. While we made it work and still enjoyed our time, it would have been better if our reservation had been properly accommodated.

   The biggest issue was they overbooked the time slots. People were waiting 45 minutes past their reservation times Nowhere to wait and only had 1 bartender while we were there. My 1st course came late, everyone else was done by the time I received mine and our food came out 2 minutes after I started. Wait staff was nice but inattentive because they were overwhelmed. My daughter’s drink did not even show up until halfway through the meal.

   Mimis was so overbooked by the time we had a server, it was an hour after our reservation. The hostess said she would get us some breakfast menus. She never returned. The server said they were not serving breakfast even though they advertise serving breakfast all day. The only menu available was a Mother’s Day brunch which was way overpriced. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. We will never eat at Mimi’s again after today. A horrible experience!

   Food was good, only select menu and no access to the regular one. Also, we made a reservation and still had to wait 45 min to get a table, so a bit chaotic. I felt bad for the servers and people were nice, just seemed under prepared for the crowd or over booked the day.

   It was a busy Mothers Day, our reservation was 30 minutes late and it took an hour to get our food, but they were packed with people waiting inside and outside, so overall I'm not dissatisfied. Our server was busy, but attentive and very friendly

   We had reservations, but had to wait an hour for our table. My daughter fainted in the lobby and no staff offered to help. Things were fine once we were seated, but the reservation system was an absolute joke.

   Everything about our dinner was wonderful, including our wait person Sarah. She was fun, knowledgeable and very efficient. We most certainly will be returning.
