We have dined many times at Midtown Cafe. It continues to be excellent in every way. We dined there on Valentine’s Night and so it was very busy. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention. From the meatloaf, to the pork chop to the Veal Piccata, all were served hot and perfectly seasoned. We even took some of their famous lemon artichoke soup home with us. Randy Rayburn is looking down from heaven and is very happy with his staff’s continued success.

Everything was excellent, but what made the experience truly special was the staff. From the friendly bartender to our server Sarah Jane (who was fantastic). Thank you!

When we moved here 35 years ago, Midtown was a favorite spot. Still is! Our server was fabulous and the food was delicious! The only thing missing was Randy-but his spirit was everywhere! Thanks for a lovely time yet again!

Music City stalwart with a menu of intriguing plates, combinations, seasoning, service and presentation. Midtown also respects, protects and burnishes the legacy of beloved and indefatigable raconteur Randy Rayburn. The staff is cordial, attentive, and responsive and it leaves you with the impression they are one big family. Kristine was fantastic this morning and emblematic of all who seat and serve you. I consider Midtown Cafe to be a convenient and terrific setting for a family occasion, to sit alone and dine at the bar, or to conduct a business meeting. I have done this often. Randy's greeting was always, "Welcome to our home." He meant it. Midtown continues to feel like home and there's a reason Nashville boasts The Randy Rayburn School of Culinary Arts at Nashville State. Special man, special commitment to pleasing his guests, and what impact he had on the community. For me, there's a magnetic pull to return. I do not resist it.

Midtown hit it out of the park. Dinner was delicious and we were thrilled to have our favorite Amanda as our server. She is the best! We were not rushed and enjoyed every bite.

It's always great when we have the opportunity to dine there; one of our favorite haunts! We ordered off the special Valentine's menu that they had all week. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab-stuffed grouper over a pilaf and asparagus, and my wife had the same experience with the short ribs. (She had some to bring home for lunch the next day!) Our server, Mathew, was attentive without becoming a helicopter and was helpful in deciding our entrées. As always, great place and the staff makes it such! Oh! And complimentary valet service, and they have shuttle busses to and from venues downtown!
