   My family of 3 went for Christmas Eve dinner, it was an early seating and fairly empty. We had reservations and go in early and was warmly greeted and sat next two another table who must only been sat just before us. The ambiance was casual yet fine dining. We had never been and read great things about the food and experience. We sat for a bit before we were finally greeted. The waitress wasn’t enthusiastic as the other server waiting on the table near us. She didn’t offer suggestions or really explain much even though we told her it was our first time. We were planning on trying several dishes. After receiving our starter which was delicious we decided we wanted to try more, by time she came back we had finished and I asked for the menu back so we could try something else. I had to pry her to get any suggestions and even then she was short. The only time we saw her was in between servings when she’d ask if we were enjoying things. My husband and I joked because she never came when we had food, only when we’re finished. Another server even cleared the table as we’re sat with empty plates in front of us for a bit. That server claimed they all helped each other yet I didn’t notice any other servers assisting in that manner, only serving food was done by others. My husband was disappointed in the service so st the end of the meal he asked for a manager, we were shocked when our server came to the table and was in fact the manager. That only made us feel worse as she should have been stellar and not sub par. Overall the food and ambiance was amazing, and the servers around us seemed to be extremely engaging. Wish we had gotten one of them and I would have given 5 stars. Would still highly recommend for the overall experience but no excuse for the poor service, it was not busy when we arrived even though it was a holiday

   This was our first time dining here, we wanted to sneak in before the move to the new location. Our server, Christian, was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable with suggestions & explaining the specials. We enjoyed our dinner and look forward to visiting again!

   Food and service was fantastic!!!!!! Food was very flavorful and delicious! Nice intimate atmosphere, took my hubby for his bday and he loved it. I will come again and highly recommend

   Michaels has become our favorite restaurant for the holidays. Food is always excellent, service is superb and ambience is great. It is quaint, conveniently located to St. Augustine's St. George Street and a perfect ending to a perfect day visiting the city.

   Overall we enjoyed ourselves but honestly for $350 bill nothing besides wine and service really stood out for us. Fillet mignone was very good but not spectacular, same with appetizers. Next time we are in town we would probably unfortunately try something else.

   We were fortunate to enjoy another celebration at Michael’s St. Augustine before they close on 12/31/24. Thank you for 5 great years of wedding and anniversary celebrations! We look forward to keeping our tradition alive at one of your other restaurants in 2025. If you haven’t experienced the great food, warm ambiance, and attentive service of Michael’s, do yourself a favor and book before they close!

   From the appetizers to the dessert everything was cooked perfectly! Service was great as well, even the suggestions made by the server were top notch! Highly recommend!
