   I wanted this to be such a great restaurant because we need something like this in Roseville, but it fell completely flat, except for our server who was lovely. The first annoyance was the level of music, which was so loud you could barely hear the people across the table from you. The food was lackluster and underwhelming. My lamb shank was so overcooked. It was dried out and stringy. Our husbands had the cioppino which was basically shrimp in a tomato broth. Not a classic cioppino at all. My girlfriend had the salmon which was dried out. The cocktails were OK and our server did a great job at decanting the wine that we brought.

   My salmon was amazing however my friends ordered the risotto and almost choked because it was so gelatinous. Service was not great where my entree came way after everyone else’s. The salmon was amazing and very hot where the mashed potatoes ans spinach were lukewarm. Would not go again.

   This restaurant has a fantastic ambience, delicious food and even though you could tell some of the Waite staff were new, they had very experienced personnel working with them . We will definitely be back.

   Great new addition to the restaurant scene in the Roseville/Granite Bay area. Excellent food, attentive service, nice ambiance. Will definitely be back soon.

   Right from the start, our party of 3 were escorted passed four empty booths that were set for for 4 patrons each, and directed towards a table in the middle of the room? Our reservation was for 530, and it was 5:20 PM… So I asked if we could be seated at a booth. The host is checked with the powers that be and indeed sat uat a booth. I have to point out, that the booth directly behind us remained empty the entire three hours we were at the restaurant. Our server provided lackluster service from start to finish . I can’t even go into all his many failings. Not only do I not have the time, I really don’t want to relive it. But, the meal ended with two cappuccinos ,where the foam was if not exactly cold, tepid at best. And once again, it was impossible to find our server, or to make eye contact with him as he floated around the room, so I reached out to someone else to please remake our cappuccinos. After at least 5-7 minutes, the employee who actually makes the cappuccinos came out and explained (though his accent was very heavy we missed most of what he said) that the machine is not steaming properly, but if we come back tomorrow, he would make us a hot cappuccino. All of which I appreciated….. though I don’t understand how if the milk steamer was not steaming, why we were even served these drinks? To add insult to injury, the cappuccinos were actually included in the bill . At that point, I snapped, got up out of our booth and walked over to the host to stand to get someone to clear this up. The menu was “meh”, as were each of the three dishes we ordered: the chicken Alfredo, the mushroom risotto and the salmon entree. I will keep my eye on the reviews over the next year and a half to two years and see if there’s any reason to give this place another try . But after last night, unless I can change my mind, I will never come back
