   Lovely little place with good food. Kid friendly which is a plus or not depending on what you want. Strange layout with little privacy so not very intimate. Staff is very friendly.

   The food was delicious, the service was excellent, but the noise level was through the roof, not complaining about it, we just didn’t expect it to be that loud, but the entire restaurant was full of energy, I fully recommend that you try it out.

   Food was really good, and I am a tough critic. Had stuffed mushroom appetizer special. Delicious! I had the chicken piccata which was perfectly executed. My father likes Chicken Scarpiello but likes a red marinara instead of a white wine sauce…the kitchen obliged. My mother had a veal dish which had shrimp also…she loved it. The side of asparagus was grilled, so it had this lovely wood grilled flavor to it. I will go back. They have a liquor license! Which I did not know…🙂

   We’ve dined here several times. Tonight, we sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to ask what we wanted to drink. I know personally there is a 3 minute rule. A server should ask for a drink order within 3 minutes of sitting down. That being said, once Tony came to our table to take our drink order, everything was perfect going forward. Our cocktails were good, and my husband’s Caesar salad was very good. Our entrees of Penne Shrimp Scampi and my husband’s chicken dish were delicious! Our server Tony, (who was also the bartender) was attentive and very pleasant! We don’t eat dessert so I can’t comment on that. After the initial wait, everything was great. I’m thinking just like everywhere, they are short handed. All in all we really love Mia Nonna Cucina!!
