   Love this place, Donnie told me about the hot chocolate bomb cause I saw them in the shelf and took 2 home for the kids. Top tier as always.

   Food and drinks are always awesome at Mexican Sugar. Our server as awesome and very attentive. It can be hard to have a good dining experience on Christmas Eve but Mexican Sugar pulled it off

   Our servers Ben and Jada were wonderful, the manager stopped into check in on us multiple times as well. Simply a great experience.

   Come for lunch and service was great as usual. Please try the Pork Chop, it’s the best thing on the menu! The bar is full service and the bar service is incredible!

   I went with my wife and two teenage daughters. The place has a cool vibe and great look, but is LOUD. The food is average - not terrible, but not great. Slightly overpriced for mediocre Mexican food. It was early on a Saturday evening, and the place was about 3/4 full. Not overly crowded. Either the place is understaffed, or we got the worst waiter ever. The service was soooooo slooooow. I finished my diet Coke and wanted to order another. Eleven minutes elapsed before we could even get the waiter's attention - and he would not have stopped by at all if I hadn't flagged him down. It was even longer since he had stopped by our table - just eleven minutes from when I started timing it after finishing my drink. The whole experience was like that - waiting to get water, waiting to get chips, waiting for refills, waiting for our food. It was like our waiter was a ghost. There are much better Mexican places around Dallas, so you don't need to waste your time here.

   I have eaten at the Mexican Sugar location in Las Colinas many times and always had wonderful experiences. The Uptown location needs better management because it is not the same consistent brand experience. The waitstaff cannot keep up, the food is very slow from the kitchen, and the overall experience is just average.
