   Went to Metro 8 for the first time on Valentine Day. Upon making our online reservation, it was noted there will be a Valentine Day menu consisting of 3 courses for $75 pp, however the menu was not available. We arrived at Metro to find the 3 course menu (appetizer, entree, dessert) was essentially a subset of their regular menu, which the establishment used Valentine Day as a way to price gauge their customers. Our bill arrived and each of the 3 courses showed a $25 charge for a total of $75. I had the empanadas ($9 on their standard menu), churrassco ($35 on their standard menu, and tiramisu ($9 on their standard menu), these items total $53 on any other night, but Metro 8 charged $75 for these standard menu items on Valentines. Shame on Metro 8.

   We booked this restaurant for our anniversary. Very nice , solid place with the quiet atmosphere and great service. Food was 4 out of 5( tuna was way too lemony). Steak was delicious but ,according my husband, a bit chewy. My filet mignon was superb. Deserts were delicious. We loved our server- pleasant, professional, soft smile- perfect. Would recommend this place

   Had a wonderful meal before heading out to a Duke basketball game. The service was very attentive without over doing it. We had Caesar salads, empanadas, one person had the fillet, with backed potato which was big enough for two. Rest of us had the churrasco which was cook just as we asked and various side dishes. DIdn't try any desserts this time. Guess that is a good reason to go back.

   It was our first visit to Metro 8 Steakhouse and it was a great first experience. The staff was polite, friendly and professional and the food was excellent. I will recommend Metro 8 to friends and neighbors.

   The churrasco was cooked perfectly. Wonderful appetizers and the dessert was amazing. Service was outstanding. Enjoyed everything, definitely will return!

   Always amazing….. order the provelta, empanadas & chorizo for appetizers. Oh, and bread…. The Luigi Bosca Malbec is fantastic. The Churassco is my husband’s and love the Filet au Povrie . I never have room for dessert but I love an espresso martini and my husband takes the crepes to go.

   Disappointed in the quality of the filet i had. Not much flavor and certainly not worth the price. Our waiter was very absent. Thank goodness our runner was there. I hope she received some of the tip. We used to love Metro 8 but doubt we will make the drive again from Raleigh.
