    Melvyn's still has the old Palm Springs vibe. The food is better than I remember from previous visits. Unfortunately, the prices are a little high, but will definitely come back again.

    Very old school and impeccable service!! I loved the ambiance and the piano player was AMAZING!! Plaid Lala Land!! Our steaks were cooked to perfection! There are not too many places left ke these anymore, a true classic!

    Feels like family every time we go. John, the greatest, greets us with warm arms and an open heart. We just met Shelly last night and she was so very kind and served us up a beautiful dinner. All of the staff, including the valet, Miguel, a total gentleman, opened my door and walked me through the front entrance. Best food, staff, atmosphere and hospitality. Another wonderful experience! Can’t wait for Christmas Eve dinner at Melvyn’s this year 🙏

    Given the reviews we were expecting a fabulous dinner for my husband’s birthday and drove 30 miles for the experience. The meat cuts were very good but they were not cooked to our requested doneness. All salads and side dishes were truly mediocre. The host was unaccommodating and rude and our waiter was nice but very inattentive and left us sitting most of the time. Our bill for 5 of us was $950 and we brought our own wine. Definitely not the legendary restaurant we had hoped for.

    it was nothing to write home to your mother about. Just very basic food. Not impressive at all. we ordered the chicken pot pie, steak Diane, loaded, mashed potatoes, broccoli, asparagus, carrots, beets and beef Wellington. Didn’t give that, “wow” that Copley’s gives after every bite. Hollywood still shows up. Our table was next to Lance Bass, his husband Michael, Randy Sage, Bridger Scott, Zach Huntley and others…Literally look like regrouping of a boy band. But again, I wouldn’t recommend anybody the food just wasn’t impressive.
