I hosted a birthday gathering for my mom and a few of her friends and we had a wonderful time. All of the staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Our drinks and nibbles were delicious. And the playlist was excellent. I will be recommending this place to my friends and hope to return.

Dionna had great drink recommendations! The atmosphere was classy and cozy and in a cool historic hotel. The cocktails were outstanding, would visit again.

The vibe was alright. The highlight was the music. But the drinks and service could really use some help. The service was slow and the drinks taste a little premade if that makes sense

While the May Peel restaurant itself was great, my experience was diminished because the only parking option was valet and there was only one attendant working on a Saturday night. It took 15 minutes to drop off my car and 20 more to reclaim it. This wait didn’t match the hefty $20 price tag for valet.

My husband and I were excited to go to the Thursday night DJ set and enjoy a cocktail and ambiance. As we checked in the hostess explained that we could be charged $50 to keep our table at 9pm to maintain our seats for the event (Our reservation was for 7:15). Mind you this is not listed on the DJ night advertisement. We understand the space is extremely small and this minimizes long seating guests, but would have like that information at the time of booking. Instead of being told once we got there it would be an additional $50 charge to keep our table. We enjoyed the music but when we arrived the valet stated the parking would be $20 which is standard but the valet incorrectly charged us for an overnight stay of $50. A manager then tried to help and stated our car would be ready after he fixed the issue. We proceeded to wait another 15 more minutes in the cold for them to then get the car after dealing with the over charge (we were told the car would be out front once our overcharge would be fixed). While the music was nice the food was mediocre at best and my cocktail was not anything amazing but pretty standard for the location/experience. It was definitely more of a hassle/headache getting in and enjoying the experience and I would prefer to not return unless the overall experience was improved.

Great place for cocktails, the ambiance and vibe is really nice. Parking is not on site and currently no valet available so plan to park at midtown union south parking deck.
