   Excellent service, very nice ambiance. Filet Minon bites were delish, so was the beet salad. Ravioli of the day very good, but Lobster w pasta & vodka sauce was not good. Just a little inconsistent. Recommend specials. Avoid the lobster.

   Per usual the food & service were excellent. We each had a Manhattan cocktail....love them. Dinner was Ceasar salad & lasagne. Since we sat at a table in the bar, the noise level was high.

   Our meal was completely coursed out for four people, so everyone tasted everything we wanted off the menu. Jeannine took such good care of us. Coursing out both pastas of the day, the lamb chops and the veal was a phenomenal idea! The Super Tuscan was also a hit!!!

   This restaurant gets better every time we go. The service was beyond wonderful ! Our server, Janine , was so attentive and kind to us (especially to our handicapped daughter,) that our meal would have been great even if the efood was not perfect. However, the food was PERFECT!!! We has; pork belly appetizer, beet salad, linguine and lobster, veal, piccata, and the special raviolis. Every one of these dishes was absolutely delicious. Even the breadsticks were a treat. The dessert, gelato , was creamy and so tasty. The only minor drawback was that we came on a Saturday night when there were two other large parties of 12 and 14 right next to us. This made for a noisier dinner than normal. Luckily for us, the groups were all made up of lovely people. All in all, this was a wonderful dinner and we will definitely be back many times.

   First time visiting and was not disappointed. Staff was great and the food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and get seconds of their lasagna.

   Entries are always special and delicious. When you go, try the amazing lasagna! If you go for lunch (only Thursday and Friday, 11:30-1:00) the lasagna is on the menu 🥰

   Our group of friends enjoyed a lovely night at Mattone. The special fixed price menu was quite a nice surprise! The service and cuisine were superb. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

   Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant was very busy and with only two servers it slowed service but not terribly. We started with the calamari which was very good. We split the Gorgonzola salad and I would not recommend. Out entrees were wonderful…we had lobster pasta, linguini and clams and veal cutlets. Finished off with an afigato! Great birthday dinner!!
