   Mary’s has always been my favorite bar in Dublin, and I’ve been a loyal customer for years. However, my recent experience was unacceptable and left me questioning whether I’ll return. I had a reservation for 7:15 PM and arrived with friends, only to find a queue downstairs. I approached the bartender to confirm if it was okay to take the table reserved under my name. He was pulling a pint at the time (he assumed I had skipped the queue) but his response was completely inappropriate—he shouted at me, saying he was “clearly in the middle of something.” I understand Christmas is a busy and stressful time, but that’s no excuse for speaking to paying customers so disrespectfully. My friends and I refused to order anything from the downstairs bar as a result. I work in a high-pressure environment every day, so I understand the importance of staying professional. Speaking to people that way in my workplace wouldn’t be tolerated. While I know your job is stressful over Christmas, before belittling your customers, remember we’re the reason you’re here. A little respect goes a long way.

   Not worth the hype. Very noisy. Booked seats and continously had to ask ppl to move.

   Lovely place to meet friends. Booking for a large group was so easy and they gave us loads of space and we could stay as long as we liked. The drinks were nice too. Plenty of choice and good value. The Wowburger was a bit crazy in terms of service. We were waiting 45 minutes at the collection point. It was a bit chaotic. Maybe it was extra busy with Christmas. I would definitely come back again for a night out, but not for food.

Regarding Wow Burger over the Christmas time, it was a particularly busy period for the kitchen which would be why there was a much longer wait time.    Everything was perfect, reserved a spot for my birthday and it was the perfect location. Really had a great time, will definitely come back!

   Celebrated a going away party there, and it was great. Spoke to staff on the phone and they advised me to download the app to book the table. Everything was super easy and on the night they were so helpful and polite. Only thing was the air conditioning. 9/10

   They don’t actually reserve a table for you. We arrived and were told to pick from whatever is free. We had a booking for 6 people.
