At Marlow we specialize in artisan style, neapolitan sourdough pizza, as well as locally sourced meats and vegetables. Our menu, space, and offerings change seasonally. We aim to bring you modern yet rustic meals to be shared. Chef/Owner Jeff Scheer and wife Kaili, have always loved to entertain at their home in Kula. The concept for the restaurant is an extension of that warm hospitality felt while sharing good food and wine around a table of family and friends. When the restaurant industry shut down in March of 2020, the pair began making sourdough pizza out of their outdoor oven at home. Milling whole wheat berries from a farm in Arizona, hand stretching mozzarella, whole-animal butchery, growing artichokes and summer squash for toppings - it was a true labor of love. What began as a ritual has grown into a restaurant. We look forward to seeing you at Marlow soon.

Executive chef: Jeff Scheer

From the OpenTable editors: Chef Jeff Scheer and his family started slinging sourdough pizza out of their backyard during the pandemic, before opening their first restaurant. Locals keep coming back for the simply excellent Neapolitan-style pies, fresh pappardelle, and woodfired veggies, all a labor of love that earned Scheer a James Beard nom for Best Chef in the region. It’s an open pizza kitchen decked out in black tiles and white marble, so you can watch the pies shuttling into the oven.

Marlow just continues to hit it out of the park. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner there tonight. Food, service, atmosphere…. Just the perfect upcountry vibe and the squash soup was unbelievable.

Great people, Good food! Arriving for early dinner service advised, quieter, nicer vibe. Really enjoyed the meatballs, all local meat! Olive oil cake amazing!

It was my first visit . . . I hope you can maintain the excellency of your operation . It was very Refreshing to have a smiley waitress at all time even tho’ the place was hopping ! Very professional During these times it’s hard to come by . Also the food was really done beautifully! From the appetizers to the entries to the desert Everything was outstanding ! I have traveled a lot all over and just to have this in our back yard is a treasure to be told ! Mahalo nui plenty for great evening ! T

Food was excellent. Vegetables with jalapeño sauce was delicious, so were the meatballs and meat pasta.

THANK YOU 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 WHAT A DELICIOUS AND DELIGHTFUL DINING EXPERIENCE!! We had just traveled home 14 hours from east coast holiday and our friends picked us up at the airport. We had made a reservation with you and they had never been before. We ordered as many dishes as I could expose them to in one meal and EVERYTHING WAS KNOCKOUT GREAT!! Autumn was wonderful and our entire day was topped with your AMAZING FOOD!! We forgot about the long travel day!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL & We will see you soon and often!!

We come to Marla’s once twice a month and often when friends are visiting. This last opportunity to come was just my myself and my husband and the food is always outstanding! This experience, we had a little mixup twice with our order once when arugula was not added to the margarita pizza and once when we were brought gelato instead of the olive oil cakes, not a big deal but service was not completely seamless. We appreciate everything that was offered as usual.
