Sungchul Shim, chef and owner of the Michelin star restaurant Kochi opens his second Michelin star restaurant Mari in Hell's Kitchen. At Mari (roll in Korean), Sung offers a tasting menu of street-food inspired Korean hand rolls, complemented by an extensive wine list and a selection of Korean spirits like soju and chungju.

Mari is offering a $145 per person seasonal tasting menu (along with a beverage pairing for $110) that explores the many facets of Korean cuisine through small plates and inventive hand rolls.

Due to the nature of our tasting menu, we are unable to accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets, gluten-free diets (if soy is not okay to consume), rice-free diets, allergies to fish, allium, sesame seeds/oil, and aversion to raw seafood. If you have any questions regarding food restrictions, please contact us before making a reservation.

    Elizabeth our Waiter was amazing at accommodating our requests. Service is 20 out of 10 at this place and the food is top level! Definitely Michelin star deserving

    One of the most amazing meals of my life. Worth every penny. Fresh and unique bites and so much food - definitely go hungry! Service was also fantastic and bartenders, waiters, and chefs were all friendly and attentive.

    Must say to the service to the food I totally get why they have a Michelin star back to back to back years. Marie our server was on point with her team on explain each dish that was served. I have a severe allergy to lobster and sure enough they accommodated me. Will definitely coming back.

    The food was unique, inventive, and complex. The wine pairing was perfect, the waitstaff was friendly, well-informed, attentive and accommodating. All around fantastic experience. Highly recommend!
