   My favorite restaurant in downtown Sarasota. You can have bustling main room, or quiet hallway high tops. Food is fantastic, my favorites being the mushrooms and peppered salmon. Sounds like a little thing, but one really nice touch is they line the leftover boxes with tin foil. Sure makes the trip home easier and keeps the food fresher, too!

   This is our 2nd visit to Marcels and it was even better than the first. The green bean appetizer is unique and outstanding. The food and service from Jaimie was exceptional.

   This was our first visit and we will definitely return. Both the offerings (Mortadella Toast, White Anchovies, Snapper on lobster zucchini pasta, Salmon and Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse with Nutella) and the service were excellent. Although the wine list is brief it has a delightful variety and is quite reasonably priced.

   Truly a great addition to Sarasota dining scene! The menu is an inventive french twist and the owner is a wonderful person! Definitely a very good spot for dining with friends & loved ones! Well done!

   Food was excellent! The restaurant was very quiet, with mostly quiet 2ppl on dates; which made our group a little uncomfortable as we were chatting. Might be solved by a little more music to reduce the awkward quiet.

   Top notch restaurant. Great service. The food was superior to most others in Sarasota and was beautifully presented in a comfortable atmosphere.

    First time experiencing a great dining pleasure at Marcel DW. Happened to learn of this newer restaurant option by chance, and we were not disappointed. Food and service were excellent. Nice to meet the chef too at our table. We will be back!
