   Steak was brought Luke warm to the table after an hour wait. Also was not the cut we expected. Was smaller than advertised and the bone was not correctly trimmed. Wine was bland and flat. Price was inflated 4-5x. Certain wines are misrepresented (low quality vintage brought to table). Bottle was opened and decanted behind a curtain, not sure what was actually brought to our table, could be bait and switch. Their bread is a pancake ! Learn to bake a proper biscuit! Never returning

   Unfortunately, they sat us in the back of the bar area. This is my favorite place to eat, but you do not want to sit in the bar. It was so loud and we had a table next to us that was screaming. I’ve eaten there six times And it is my favorite place to eat in Atlanta, but it was my worst experience because we were in the bar and it was so loud.

   First time dining here and had high expectations due to its reputation. Arrived with reservations and was met by a cold hostess who only stated it will be a little while. Service was very slow for drinks and food. Tables are so close together you might as well introduce yourself since everyone can hear everyone’s conversation. Mark was a top notch waiter and was definitely the highlight of the night. Didn’t particularly like the style of how they cook the steaks but sides, and dessert were fantastic. Restaurant is so loud you can’t hardly carry on a conversation, without leaning forward to hear. Overall it’s too pricey for the experience that I had.

   This was the kind of meal I couldn’t wait to write a review about. We went at opening on a Saturday night and grabbed seats at the bar (we parked in the provisions deck and they do validate parking) all the staff we encountered were super friendly. The bartenders are knowledgeable and did a great job. We had the Cote de Boeuf and from the first bite I was all in. For sides we had the pomme puree and Caesar salad. Both delightful. Oh and the bread service was fantastic as well. A really unique and tasty focaccia. Overall I would say it was the best steak I have had in Atlanta, I would absolutely visit Marcel again.

   Our experience was excellent up to the very end. Food was great. We enjoyed the crab appetizer, the ribeye, the onions soup, fries and the chocolate cake and crème brûlée. All excellent. The service was also great until it wasn’t. Our desserts came out and so did the bill!!! What? The bill should never come out unless requested. We barely had touched our desserts and you bring us the bill. Ok. That wasn’t enough… as we are enjoying our desserts they came to pick up our bill, which of course wasn’t ready because we were still enjoying our dinner. That was a huge mistake on their part. At this level of dining, this should not be happening. I personally was a bit disappointed. I would also add, the restaurant was not busy, others were plenty of empty tables.

   Didn’t take the food allergy serious, steak was over cooked, reservation was for 7:45 but didn’t seat until more like 8:30. Good ambiance though

   We celebrated my husband birthday and our experience was phenomenal! The service was amazing and the food was so delicious! Hands down this is 10/10!
