WOW. what a treat. Chef London Chase delivered on this menu. Everything from the signature cocktails to the food to the mango custard was incredible. I highly recommend the Crudo and Hen as appetizers. The oxtail rivals that of Little Caribbean neighborhood restaurants in terms of flavor and portion. Absolutely amazing staff that were friendly and knowledgeable. Will be returning!

Love the space. Been there through several different restaurants in that location over the years and Mango Bay's touches look great. Find was flavorful. The only negative was that they ran out of sweet plantains, and bread pudding the night we were there.

Upon arrival for a 9pm time slot me and my date were informed the restaurant was running behind schedule. We were seated at 930pm. The drinks were very good but the waitress for our table returned several times to inform us of options being unavailable off their prefixed menu. This made enjoying our dinner difficult as the menu was scarce as it is and only one or two options per selection as is. The couple next to us informed us they had a 7pm reservation at 1030pm as they witnessed the struggles we had with the service. At 11pm my date and I decided to leave and pay for what we received thus far which was only a starter and appetizer which I received the wrong order for. Overall seemed like a nice place but I wouldn’t advise attending for Valentine’s Day or special occasion dinner from my experience.

Having never been and seeing this spot turn over many times through the years, we weren’t too sure. Well, wow. Exceeded our expectations for sure. We live nearby and very frequently (at least twice a week) dine at many of the spots nearby, this will 100% be added to our regular rotation! The service was outstanding (Adrian, I think?) and their suggestions were spot on. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu! Keep doing everything you’re doing, you just gained a regular customer. ❤️

There have been many iterations of Caribbean and Afro-Southern food in the space now occupied by Mango Bay. To date, none compelling. The arrival of Mango Bay has turned that around. This is elevated, innovative Afro-Caribbean without abandoning the vibrant flavors that characterize that cuisine. In a simple sentence: We loved it! Thoughtfully composed plates delight the eye and the senses. Ackee with salt-fish egg roll was the perfect wrapper for this well-composed appetizer served with two sauces and large enough to share. The highlight for us was the goat pastry which, if you haven't tried goat, will make you a fan. Flaky phyllo with tender, well seasoned goat complimented by a translucent curry sauce complimented but did overwhelm the sweetness of the goat meat demonstrated the chef's knowledge of ingredients. We tried the special waygu beef - unbelievably tender and flavorful devoid of that greasy feel many cooks leave clinging to waygu. It was perfect. The giant mango curry Australian prawns served (as it should be) with heads on accompanied by sushi rice was succulent enhanced (not drowned ) by the mango curry- The chef wisely serves a wonderful palate cleanser in between appetizer and mains. We had a wonderful, not too sweet mango pudding to finish our meal. The portions are generous and, as importantly, the ingredients are all carefully sourced with the freshness of a Caribbean breeze even on a snowy night. This is more than your standard jerk takeout place but showcases the true delights of Afro-Caribbean cuisine. The setting is elegant but warm. It should be on your 2025 list of must trys.

we had an amazing experience. service was phenomenal, and everything we had was flavorful -- we had the hen, plantains, jerk chicken, and the Bronzino (our favorite!!). well worth the trip we took from Midtown; we'll definitely be back.
