   We always stay at the Nelligan hotel during our visits to Montreal. Their newest restaurant Mama C did not disappoint. Excellent service and the Greek sea bass was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Great ambiance as well.

   I was extremely disappointed with the waiter and the service I received. Given the price, I expected a much better customer experience. The waiter only showed up to take our order and never checked in on us—not even to offer water or refill our glasses. At one point, I saw him on his phone for several minutes laughing and giggling before disappearing from his section. That said, the ambiance was great, the crowd was stylish, and the food was good. Give this man training on customer service.

   Le service super rapide et efficace, personnel agréable et souriant ainsi que la nourriture et sa présentation a été remarquablement excellente, chaque saveur était au rendez-vous ce qui a permis à notre soirée d’être à la hauteur de nos attentes .

   Le niveau de bruit a été extreme. Notre table pour deux a été placé presque collée a une table d’au moins 14 personnes qui fêtaillent un anniversaire. Voilà une façon de ruiner un date. Pourquoi ne pas mettre en zones differentes les grandes tables des partys séparées de ceux qui cherchent une ambience plus intimiste et ainsi plaire à tous?

   The dinner we had at Mama C's was simply excellent - all five of us were delighted with every course we had from the restaurant's extensive menu. Our waiter, Kim, was our "guide" making suggestions (but only suggestions) as to what might be plates that we all could share - and how they would "fit" together. A couple of us had food issues, but those were adapted to, and we got plates that were all wonderful to share. We also had a main course of sea bass - whole fish, grilled and then filleted at the table - delicious. The only course we didn't have was dessert - everyone was too full! Service was personable, timely and excellent. Kim and her assistants were attentive and polite - I might say "classy." Restaurant atmosphere is warm and most attractive. Noise level quite moderate, lighting just right. We all look forward to a return to this superb restaurant soon!
