First time at Mallards. Was not disappointed. Food excellent. Friendly and prompt service. We had Tuscan Pappardelle and the Lobster roll. The Tuscan had savory sausage with fresh pasta and had an incredible cream sauce. Best pasta dish I’ve had in a while. My wife reports the Lobster Roll was very good as well. Kudos to you all

Our dining at Mallards Shakopee was so bad, it was comical by the end. Parking was a challenge. There is no lot, just street parking in a densely populated condo area. This restaurant is LOUD. Could use some sound dampening. Our waitress took our order after delivering drinks, etc. She came back 5 min later to tell us she accidentally threw our order away and she re-took the order. Food took quite a while. When it came out, it was two orders, a few min later two more, a few min later one more. The last dish was never delivered and our waitress did not return. After we all finished our meals, we were able to flag someone down and they started working on the last dish. Most of us were still hungry. The prices are reasonable here because they don't give you much food. The shrimp and grits was the only standout dish. The rest were meh. I had the Thai Peanut Chicken Chop. Beware! There are no greens in this salad as picture. It was a large bowl of cabbage and carrot coleslaw and sauce with a few chunks of chicken. I could not finish the cabbage, it was so much. I was hungry. Once the sixth dish finally arrived, they offered a compensatory dessert. I assumed they would bring enough for the table of six to share. Nope! This too was a small portion. About 5 bites. Although it was indeed tasty. To top off the night, I washed my hands in the women's room and the towel dispenser did not work, so I returned to the table with wet hands, which at this point, had us in hysterics.

Except for the acoustics the vibe is great! The food was delicious and service was amazing. We met friends for dinner and it took us a while to stop chatting long enough to look at the menu. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. We had such a great time and will definitely come back.

Open concept floorplan in a modern vibe. First time customers, great menu and food was wonderful with manageable portion sizes and prices. Had Korean Meatballs, Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta, Surf and Turf. Missed happy hour, but may try for that next time.

Wonderful, friendly, flexible wait staff. Our server was Bebe, and not only did she accommodate all of our requests, she went above and beyond by making a substitution for us. I love the hot Tennessee chicken sandwich and Cajun fries! This is the second time I have had both, and they're always delicious, and they packed just the right amount of heat. I would highly recommend mallards!

Great place for lunch with group of 7 including some visiting from Europe. Everyone was happy with their food and the waiter was exceptional. We spent over 2 hrs visiting and didn’t feel rushed to leave. I highly recommend Mallards!
