   The noise level was such that I had to lean across my table to hear my companion's words, and I had to shout in order for her to her mine. Most of the noise came from two large parties seated on both sides of this small tearoom. Unfortunately, both parties had ladies who couldn't contain their enjoyment and had to converse in shrieks to prove it. (You had to be there,) The noise made it impossible to notice anything in the tearoom, for example, I don't remember any of the decor. I had a hard time focusing on the menu and choosing my sandwiches and tea, as well. When the order came, though, I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwiches and the Malay curry chicken sandwiches. The scones were also delicious, as were the sweet, ripe pineapple slices, but the desserts weren't to my taste. I don't know what the tearoom staff can do about noisy parties like the ones I encountered. Asking them to quiet down would probably offend them in today's society. Maybe a polite note at the top of the menu could remind patrons of proper tearoom etiquette.

   Cute place. Very clean but simple. Loved the jasmine green tea and the salmon/cream cheese sandwich. Also liked the potato puff on rice cracker.

   I had a delightful experience, the tea service offers a unique and delicious spin on the traditional afternoon British tea. I will most assuredly be back again.

   Excellent services and food quality, although the price increased and I expected more selections on the menu set but that’s good enough for me to experience English tea with my girlfriends, just recommended more friends to this cute place!
