    The Mahi Mahi fresh fish dinner was so flavorful! Started off with Fried Calamari which was so tender, served with delicious tartar sauce. The bread pudding was light but amazing flavors!

    We made a reservation for happy hour at Mala on a Monday afternoon. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Delicious cocktails too! On the happy hour menu we enjoyed poisson cru, calamari, coconut shrimp, and the blackened fish sandwich. We were fortunate to be at a table right next to the water, but there is not a bad seat in the house. We will definitely be coming back!

    We always enjoy Mala. This time we had a sea-side table so were able to look for turtles (and there were plenty). Food continues to meet our expectations - especially the fish sandwich! Service was a bit slower this time but with the great setting we didn't mind.

    We love Mala! It’s our must go to for every visit. We even had our wedding ceremony dinner there 10 years ago the whole fish is a must!!!

    My wife and I dined at Mala during our annual visit to Maui. It didn’t disappoint- excellent Ahi Bruschetta and Calamari appetizers, followed by a shared entree - the catch of the day prepared pan fried with kabocha squash and carrots and broccolini. John was an attentive and engaging waiter! And if anyone is keeping track of the best Mai Tai on the island - Mala’s is one of the best you’ll find!
