Our dishes, a vibrant testament to Oaxaca's rich gastronomy, celebrate the sacredness of maize, the core of Mexican cuisine. Food was VERY GOOD and our server was also GREAT. The place is beautiful and the ambiance is very unique. That being said we were barely greeted by the hostesses, and the journey in the elevator and to the table was very quiet and somewhat awkward. At least a script should be given to these employees to at least make some small talk and make the customers feel comfortable and welcome. Also, the person that brought us our menus did not even bother to greet us, just handed us the booklets and we had to figure out which was what. Lastly, we specified our anniversary as the special occasion when we made the reservation and it was not acknowledged at all. We were not expecting anything huge but a note on the table or a simple “happy anniversary” would have made us feel special and would have made a huge difference. All in all, we had been wanting to try this place for a while and, in conclusion, we went, we saw it, we tried it , we’ll move on.

The restaurant is very nice, wonderful decoration and ambience. The Chamorro and carne asada were excellent but the "Romeritos" is a scam. That Mexican dish is made with mole and "Romeros" is a veggie, the plate had a spread of mole and not even one bite of romeritos. As if you ask for spaghetti but you get 3 spaghetti strings. One bite of nopal and the shrimp "tortas" has 1 tiny shrimp only. I cannot believe the chef autorize the dishes to be served like that, they really think people will not notice. Two bites of food for $39 is a scam! My mother and I got the same thing served exactly the same. It was my son's birthday and I did not want to make a fuss on his day but when I call the restaurant to complain noone answers. there is no option to talk to the manager. I want my money back.

god help you if you go unsuspecting on a night when the restaurant has invited “influencers” to dine at the restaurant’s expense. be prepared for klieg lights in your eyes as multiple oblivious influencers film all of their (but not your) experience with especially bright lights. what looks great on the internet looks rather revolting live. some of us loved our meals and specialty margaritas. the chamorro was great, as it is usually; a guest enjoyed their short rib, another their azteca soup. most liked the theater of the salsa. the fish tacos are to be avoided as they are mostly sauce…the fish was indiscernible. the churros are good but the tres leches cake was dry and inferior. the presence of bouncers was a notable addition since my last time, though appropriate for the increase in inebriated guests, leaving the impression this is a restaurant aspiring to be a night club, even on a tuesday.

It is good to go to the roof top first and enjoy the open air space ( the sunset if lucky) having a drink for a while and then go downstairs to your table at the reserved time to enjoy delicious food and service.

At no fault to our server but she was the only person that seemed to oversee the entire 2nd floor. This made it very long between interactions, and often were waiting 10-20 minutes if we needed anything including the bill. She was fantastic, but if she had some help it would really help. Food quality was very good. Table-side salsa was a nice touch and tasted delicious.
