The menu has an excellent selection. We had lunch on the patio, which was perfectly relaxing. The service was warm and knowledgeable. I would like to eat there again.

La carta es amplia y surtida, los sabores son especiales y diversos. Buenas porciones y muy bien servido. Los patacones son sorprendentemente delgados, como una lámina, lo que los hace increíblemente placenteros al paladar. Los saloneros muy bien preparados, conocen el menú, describen bien los platos. En vinos, propuestas poco convencionales y distintas. El Sommelier Loremel nos sugirió un vino griego Naoussa que me pareció encantador con la selección de alimentos que básicamente era de mar. Le mejoraría la terraza y la luz que hay, muy baja. Muy buena experiencia

I can say it lived up to the hype. Simple, neat, and inviting ambiance. Entree serving sizes we're adecuate for it's prices. Food -and drinks- were tasty and pleasantly spicy (as a person who does not like spicy food). The service was possibly the best, compared to other restaurants in Panamá. Server was knowledgeable about all the plates on the menu and had the patience to walk through them with her guests. Would recommend Maito for an authentic elevated Panamanian food experience.

My fish was dry and my patacones were stale, as if they'd sat out for a few hours before being served. Our waiter wore a mask and rather revoltingly kept snorting back his own mucus. He did not wear gloves so I was very concerned for my family's health. And my 3 year old daughter. I hope we do not get ill from whatever it was he had, as we all know, this spreads by touch and his bare hands were all over the plates, glasses, cutlery. A very poor experience, and expensive. Way too expensive. $5.50 for some water?? pay for your own side dishes? when your piece of dry fish is 25? where are we? switzerland?
