Had a decent experience at this cozy restaurant. Loved the decor but the overall experience fell short. The server never introduced herself not creating any intimacy, appetizers were supposed to be coursed out but came all together, The Onion Soup was magnificent, the Tartare and oysters were okay. The table was not wiped throughout the meal. Steak was served cold and had to be redone. The final bill wasn’t checked and we had a bottle of wine (which was unavailable to get) still on the bill and had to be pointed out.

The food was very good. Service was a bit mixed as it took a long time to get drinks and wine brought to the table. The servers acknowledged this and then made sure we were taken care of for the rest of the dining experience.

I found the Beef Bourguignon rather dry and tasteless. But the French Onion Soup was outstanding. Service was attentive but the we rushed out at the end and not given enough time to check the bill. No one advised us that it was only a 2 hour sitting. Not impressed. Lovely place but not sure I would return.

First time st Maison Selby, beautiful French chic decor, lovely cocktails, great service and fantastic food. Everything you want in a French bistro - romantic and laid back at the same time.

Our server was great, however it took too long to get served drinks and our food was not hot. Disappointing to be quite honest. We always try Maison Selby a few times per year and it’s never consistent.
