   It was our first visit to the restaurant. Colleagues who had gone there all said it is an amazing restaurant. The restaurant is advertised as a "Franco-American cuisine". We had expected a French style restaurant. In fact, the atmosphere is more that of an American café. The tables are basic bare metal tables, with no tablecloths. The noise level was loud but not high enough that it would interfere with conversations. We could hear each other. The prices on the menu were on par with other good restaurants in the area. We did not find the menu particularly French, but it was an interesting menu, with many choices without being overwhelming. The quality of the food was excellent. It was extremely good. A++ In fact, it was one of the best restaurants we have visited in the area. The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and helpful in addition to being very nice. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. We will definitely revisit the place. I highly recommend it.

   The waiter was the only highpoint of the evening. The host was grumpy. The food was fair. The price for the value of the meal was high. We will be taking Maison Cheryl off our list of favorite Northern Virginia restaurants. Save your money and a dining experience and try someplace else. We will.

   Really cool restaurant with modern vibe, clean sophisticated decor. The service was excellent and the cocktails and whiskey selection was very good! The escargot was super tasty and the main dishes we had were very nice: Bay Scallop & Shrimp Orecchiette, Duck Breast, and Swiss Au Poivre Burger. Really enjoyed our first visit!

   Sunday brunch, salmon omelets were delicious. Usually don’t come to Clarendon from the burbs, worth the trip.

   Food was very good. Ambiance not so much. Decor was unappealing. Music varied from decent to bad. Blasts of cold air from the front door made the room cold, particularly at our table. We liked the food quite a bit but don’t think we’ll rush to return.

   My husband and I were visiting from MN. The food was excellent! The owner and head chef Bobby is fantastic. We had the escargot, the beet and citrus salad and the duck breast. Every bite was excellent. The ambience was fabulous and every team member was very kind and professional! The pick me up cocktail was delicious along wit this green drink that was NOT on the menu. Ask your server ❤️

   The restaurant has a very appealing menu ---as our first time dining at Maison, it was hard to decide what to order. The fish items stood out to me as most appealing. We had the beet salad to start --- nicely done and presented. We then shared a strip steak ---- it was nicely cooked but we felt the meat was a bit fatty/tough. Service was very good and attentive. We will go back again.

    Everything was so pleasant from when we walked in the door, throughout our meal. The food was very good - loved the arugula salad with the eggs - authentic baguette, great Americano latte. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The prices were spot on for to e experience. Recommend!
