   Wonderful authentic Italian place with delicious food! Perfect post-movie dinner venue. We will definitely be coming back. The pappardelle and children's spaghetti were excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly but our one complaint was that she forgot our drink order even after a reminder, so we had to go to the bar to get it. Otherwise, we loved it!

   I feel like they're very understaff that they can't keep up. They only refilled our water once and didn't even really check up on us about our dinner. I don't remember their service being this bad. My kids like this place, but not sure if it would be our go to restaurant. One of the guys who was helping our waitress wasn't very friendly. Our waitress was nice but was so busy to take a breather.

   Food is always ono and our server was awesome. The workers were very nice and and very helpful and the host was very accommodating to my special request 🫶 Thank you for the complimentary birthday dessert 💕. Y’all made my birthday dinner a special one🌻

   Her favorite place for some really good pasta . Mondays are always tough to eat out as many restaurants close.

   I was really surprised at how bland the decor is. It’s like a cafeteria. The name and the food says different. I enjoyed the food and the service immensely.

   We enjoyed our dinner at Mad Bene. It was a Friday evening, so busy. We made reservations, and we were seated quickly. We ordered a glass of wine and split the Ceasar Salad and Chicken Parm with spaghetti. Unlike most restaurants, the server was unwilling to switch out another pasta for the spaghetti. No reason why. The salad came in a reasonable amount of time and was exceptional. The chicken parm seemed to take longer than expected. The food was good, and the service was just OK. Lots of servers, clearing dishes quickly, but slow in the kitchen and inflexible. It could be a more sophisticated restaurant if they were better trained. Today, it works as a good meal before the movie. We will return with adjusted expectations.

    This is the gem of Kapolei!! We absolutely love eating here and will do it over and over again! The hot honey pizza is my favorite pizza! And the creamy Alfredo pasta was so good! They make their breads and pastas in house! Highly recommend!
