   Had an amazing meal & service was spot on …we had a lovely server who was called Amelie a very friendly & pleasant young lady …only minus was the value for money we found it very expensive…but overall definitely worth a vist

   Lovely food & drink; well presented, original menu, and tasty. However, the service was pretty rubbish. Whilst the team were friendly, they were clearly not up to the task. It wasn't really busy but we had to chase to order, the waiter didn't know the menu and was clearly pretty new and quite stressed and was getting tables/orders mixed up. We also had to remind them that we'd ordered bread to begin which eventually came with our starters, without butter and without oil/balsamic as we'd asked - this bit, whilst minor, was also pretty amusing - after reminding the waiter (for the second time) that we had asked for balsamic and oil, he returned with a bottle of vinegar a la a chip shop - fawlty towers style :) We also had send a couple of other servers away with food and drink that wasn't for us, chase to buy drinks throughout the evening (eventually I went up to the bar myself) and fiinally chase to pay and get our coats. It wasn't particualry busy but as I said, the server (and the rest of the team) weren't up to the job. A shame really as it's a lovely restaurant with great food and drinks. It amused us as much as annoyed us (especially the vinegar) but not sure we'll be going back.

   We had a wonderful 3 course meal here. Food was great, the staff were polite and attentive. The restaurant was cosy and well laid out. Prices are quite high, but the quality of food and drink was great. I would have liked our main ( halibut) to have come with chips or boiled potatoes, but you have to order them separately. That is my only slight grumble on a very good evening out. Well worth a visit.

   Never had a bad meal at Lussmanns, either in St Albans, Hertford and, mainly, Hitchin. This time a full of flavour cod with langoustine bisque. Tip: order any veggie to dip in the bisque. A white sauvignon make it a good pair. Service courteous and professional. Back soon.

   Dads 85th birthday Delicious food and drink. Well accessible for wheelchair access Staff were brilliant, attentive but not excessive. Would recommend to my friends

    We had a really nice evening. The F&B was deliciously amazing. The staff were very efficient, friendly, helpful and fabulous! Highly recommended.
