Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service.     Food was very good. Service was slow, probably because it was a Sunday and they had a smaller staff. I had to get up and go to the bar myself to order a drink. With an almost empty dinning room, we were seated in a corner, next to the service station, and next to another couple, when there were 3 other tables empty, that were never used the whole night.

    I was treating a friend who had never been to lunch. The restaurant maybe was 10% occupied. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating however not attentive. Forgot to bring our apps, had to ask for water.... I love this place and will go back as this historically not been the norm. Hopefully it was a one off. Food was great.

    Excellent experience. Lunchtime parking was readily available at 11:45. I was seated promptly and, as indicated by the valet parking lot, there were few other diners. Surprising because I think the place is generally pretty busy, but I went on 12/23. I had the blackened Texas redfish. It was piping hot when it was served and was excellent. Service was excellent (there when we needed it but not overbearing). Price was reasonable for fresh seafood. Recommended. Excellent place for fresh seafood.

    Great experience. Server knew the menu and answered all our questions, and kept our drinks full. Food was very good. The BBQ shrimp with cheddar jalapeno were incredible, and my wife enjoyed her lobster roll. Live music wasn't overpowering but very pleasant. We really enjoyed our visit.
