Locust brings a chaotic elegance to Nashville's dining scene. Chef Trevor Moran and team carefully assemble an ever-changing menu highlighting seafood and local, seasonal products: think raw bar selection, whole grilled fish, a decadent crab omelette, all rounded out with tea and biscuits shaved ice.

On Sunday nights, the team pumps out dumplings folded to order for a more casual, walk-ins-only experience.

Lunch: Friday - Sunday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM (reservations required)
Dinner: Friday - Saturday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (reservations required)
Sunday Walk-Ins: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (first come, first served)

    I love this place so much. Filled with people who seem genuinely proud to be there and concerned about the their craft. The food is always amazing, there is an intimate atmosphere, and the playlist seems like they just swiped my daily mix from Spotify. Love coming here, thanks for taking care of us.

    The food was amazingly sublime. Came for lunch, and ordered one of everything for a party of three, including caviar. Dishes were exceptional, but for the omelette. Done well but nothing special, could’ve done without it. However, everything else, including the presentation and service, was excellent (plus an awesome playlist as well!). The ambience/decor of the restaurant doesn’t match the elevated cuisine, but that seems to be intentional. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Nashville.

    Good flavors. Decent experience. You can tell the staff cares deeply about the food they're making for you. Overall the reputation is exaggerated and there are much better food experiences in Nashville at that price point, perhaps with nearby patrons talking more about their day than the food presentation. But if you want to loudly swoon over your food, it's more acceptable here.
