An inattentive waitperson (we were the only people in the entire restaurant at lunchtime) and very mediocre food gives this the low rating. The Caesar salad with salmon, had flakes of dried out salmon on it. Can not recommend.

Used to love going to Lochnell Arms but this visit was not as good menu changed and food not as good seemed poor quality. My grandsons burger was inedible the burger roll was brick hard they did replace & took of final bill but already very disappointed.

I have already emailed the hotel directly with no response. I hope Opentable generates more interest. I did not include in the original email the fact that the complete order for one of our party was missing at all three courses and the replacement turkey dinner was still partially frozen. The little girl in our party was somewhat disappointed not to get her promised ice cream dessert. Really it was a shambles and I have no intention of visiting again. Here is the email I sent. Sir/Madam Having been to your hotel for Sunday Lunch in the past I booked a table over your internet booking service via your website. The website clearly states that there is a Sunday carvery all year round. Yesterday there was no carvery and no explanation why not other than the comment “is this a problem”. Have you decided to remove the carvery and if so, will you amend your website accordingly?

Went for the sunday carvery and it did not disappoint. Only one thing, the cake/desserts were too chilled
