First I'd like to start by saying the service was 5 stars! Now for the issues - 1. It is insanely loud in the restaurant, they have the music on at full blast which is just uncomfortable. Why? 2. My food was just ok, the Banh mi had full pork chops in there, it was hard to eat and just overwhelmed with meat. (My mother had the oysters and lobster and they were fantastic). The fries were both undercooked (soft and flaccid) and overcooked (burnt on the ends), I have no idea how that's possible. 3. As others have said, the price of their alcoholic drinks is a bit outrageous

This is a must eat place when in Baltimore. The oysters are perfection and the crab cake is the best. But no one makes a better cream of crab soup.

Nice place. They variety of oysters was excellent and they were good. My wife’s meal was lukewarm but my dish was fine. The service was very good. The drinks from the bar were excellent.

Great location on the water in Harbor East. Oysters were great. Sea bass a bit overcooked. A bit noisy for dinner - I usually go for drinks and love the music. Great ambiance and service.

We loved Loch Bar on all levels as usual. However, the most outstanding part of the meal for me was the Cream of Crab soup. The flavor itself was delicious. I've made this same order at many other restaurants and was fortunate if I found even three little pieces of crabmeat. Loch Bar's however had not only an unaccountable amount of crabmeat, unlike many other restaurants, Loch Bar's Cream of Crab soup was fresh...as all of Loch Bar's food has always been.

This was our first visit to Loch Bar and we took our granddaughter for dinner for her 25th birthday. Our experience was excellent as was the food and service. I had the tuna poke bowl with a glass of cold prosecco; my husband enjoyed his Loch burger with fries and an IPA; and our granddaughter was delighted with her salmon over couscous with mussles. Since we live in the city, we'll definitely return. Elaine Rifkin
