   The bar tender was our waiter when we arrived at 5:30. When the restaurant began to fill up he was too busy at the bar to wait on us. I asked other waiters to get his attention. One member of our party got his food but the other two had to wait 25 minutes for ours after we asked other waiters to check for us. No water refill. And at the end I had to walk up to the bar to ask for boxes and the check. I have been here many many times and lived the place. Food is great. However last night was a disaster. I told the bar tender how unhappy I was and he said they were short staffed and was sorry.

   Great food. Great service. Excellent cocktail. You need to do a better job cleaning the sticky table surfaces.

   I was expecting the Banh Xeo to be more of a thin crepe rather than a thick pancake.

   Cold dumplings. Didn’t know they were supposed to be hot until the table next to us got theirs. Super salty beef, SUPER slow service. Nobody checked on us. Rolls were gummy. I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to disappoint my dad. It was my birthday dinner. Sad.

   I love this place but my dinner last night wasn’t as well prepared as normal. The shaky shaky beef was much too salty and the fried sea bass was lackluster. This was shocking in that I normally have a great dining experience here. I was just here a few weeks ago with another friend and that dinner was fantastic. Something was really off about the food last night - not horrible in that I will write this place off but truly disappointing, esp since I was with a friend who I was introducing the restaurant to for the first time. The waitress was lovely and provided great service and the ambiance is always special.
