We’re all about cooking with intention and purposeful ingredients to deliver a depth of flavor. Slowing down to do something well makes the enjoyment of great food and good conversation that much better.

Our food is straightforward and authentic. Our sharable plates change seasonally as we celebrate locally‐sourced produce at its prime. Seasonal eating is a delicious and sustainable way to support your local food purveyors and enjoy both recognizable flavors, as well as the unexpected.

Owned and operated by the friendly and energetic couple, Owen and Mindi McGlynn of Asheville Proper, they wanted to create an inviting and easygoing space just for locals, located in North Asheville, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life.

Dinner was great. Dessert was ok. Could use better selection and lighter faire. That said dinner was really great!!! And the other three at the table enjoyed their dessert I would definately go again and would order the same seafood items!!!

Our first time at Little D’s. The casual and friendly vibe made us immediately comfortable, but then the food took the experience to another - and somewhat unexpected - level. Simply superb in all regards!

Very good meal. The restaurant is somewhat small , nice, but a few too many tables leads to a little bit too much noise. Still, great food, great service and priced on the high side of reasonable. We like it.

Little D's is quite possibly the best restaurant in Asheville. The service was attentive, our meals were creative but unpretentious, and the cost is approachable and it feels like a good value. The overall experience was incredible. I can't wait for our next visit!

My sister & her husband came to visit, and we had a delicious dinner. We especially enjoyed the beet ravioli, a special on the menu. My brother-in-law & I both ordered pork, and my sister chose tilefish, another special. Everything was divine! Thanks to Nicole for the excellent service.
