   Food was okay but not as interesting as it sounded on the menu. Service was very mixed with one waiter really looking like he didn’t want to be there, not a single word uttered and dropping (rather than placing) a plate of food on the table. If I were running the restaurant, I would definitely make sure everyone was trained to the required service level.

   Booked for a birthday treat along with restaurant. Nice food but made to pay in the middle of the night despite staying in hotel and booking together. Unacceptable when all other hotels would add to the room. Refused to add to the bill and woke us up at night to make payment!

   Gorgeous setting for a quite dated hotel. Service was very good - everyone was friendly, patient and informative. The spa is small, the treatment rooms were very nice and calming, and the masseuse was incredible, however the relaxation room could benefit from the same calm music being played in there. Whilst again the service was lovely, I wouldn't recommend the full afternoon tea at all - significantly overpriced for a generous but arguably disappointing spread. The scones were sensational, but the sandwiches felt slightly stale and were very sparsely filled, and the cakes felt mass produced and 'claggy'. I did, however, appreciate a wide selection of tea and the offer of a refill. Overall an okay experience but room for improvement

   Very run down, not matching photos at all. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and they had a handyman with a drill fixing cupboard doors which were falling off. Bizarre decor and clearly all afternoon tea bits were bought in. Although staff were attentive in asking if you wanted more tea, whenever they did so, knowing we had an empty pot, they'd just bring a new pot and leave the empty one on the table - needless to say we had 5 pots on the table at one point and had to ask them to take stuff away. Hotel looks like something out of the 80s or a horror movie, very very run down and needs tlc. Shame as grounds externally are pretty.

   No reply when I tried to book a table via telephone. The sandwiches were fridge cold, a few degrees warmer would have made them more pleasant, although they were very fresh. The cakes were delicious. The tea was lovely and hot. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

   We stayed three nights and the menu did not change. Some food items were not available. The special was a selection of curry starters and mains. Most of the food lacked flavour. The overall experience was lacking. The last night we had really good service from a young female waitress and the soup tasted lovely but otherwise it was disappointing. Breakfast was tasteless.

   Menu seemed limited for choice & not very adventurous. Did have three curries as specials but think this menu is the only one available & over a three night stay will become boring.

   The lady who 'looked after us' was attentive but not intrusive; took photos for us brought us fresh tea. Afternoon tea was lovely, service was wonderful.

    Such a delightful afternoon spent at Frimley Hall for their festive afternoon tea. Service was very quick and friendly, we were kindly offered a top up of the sandwiches which were absolutely amazing, clotted cream & Jam and fresh tea. No request was too big. I’d definitely put this on my go to list now. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our experience here. The price is amazing too, such great value for what is on offer!
