   My Tuna salad sandwich was very tasty. The service was quick and informative. My buddy and I agreed that Leaping Lizard is a redo. I'll be back.

   Leaping Lizard is one of my favorite Virginia Beach restaurants. Everything is ALWAYS delicious! The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. A big shoutout to our server Betsy! She’s amazing!

   The restaurant has recently resumed dinner service and it seemed there were a few kinks they need to work out. The server was enthusiastic, but not very attentive. The food was very slow arriving (it took about 30 minutes for a cup of soup and raw clams, our appetizers, to arrive after we ordered). The dozen clams arrived as just 10, too. The entrees were pretty poor. The duck was tough and arrived cold. Hope they get their act together. We’ve always enjoyed Leapin Lizard before.

   Atmosphere was great. Food was superb. We got the breakfast sandwich and the French toast - and the FT was absolutely amazing, sandwich was solid too. The sides (apple slaw) are tasty and unexpectedly bright and crisp with flavor.

    Our group of six sat on the inside in the back room. The surroundings were pleasant and the food was AMAZING! All six raved about the presentation and the taste of the three dishes chosen: quiche, tuna melt and soup w/ ham biscuit. Best restaurant ever!
