   Great restaurant for real French food. We were in a hurry, going to a concert, so kept it simple with onion soup and foie gras, but will certainly come back for some slower dishes. Spectacular.

   The food was mediocre at best. For appetizer we had the octopus and the foie gras. Don't serve octopus if it is not fresh. The foie gras was nice though. For main course we had the duo of duck and the short rib. The rib was good, the duck leg confit was delicious but the the breast was a disaster. I asked for medium rare and I got 3 chewy, well done slices. Not sure why we had dessert after all of this but we definitely regretted it. It was a disgrace. Cold, store bought, soggy tarts. For the price, very disappointing. There is a reason why Le Monde if 70% empty on a Saturday evening.

   the food and service were great but the music was horrible. we had to put up with tunes such as The Climb by Miley Cyrus and Toxic by Britney Spears! I generally don’t mind these songs but just so weird to hear at a french restaurant. did not fit the vibe and destroyed the ambiance completely.

   I was looking for a classy, fun brunch without breaking the bank. The spot had creative twists on classics and offered better value than other brunch spots. Delicious, classy, and fun.

   Waited forever for a basic food order. There must have been trouble in the kitchen. Our waiter was excellent but clearly irked by the problems in the kitchen. We made a reservation early enough to get to a performance. We barely got there on time. A couple of diners next to us left without getting their entrees because they didn’t want to be late. They arrived at the restaurant before we did. Not sure I would go back although I had a good experience there for brunch on an extremely busy Saturday. Night and day difference.

   We had two appetizers--French onion soup and oysters--and two bigger dishes, moules marinières and tarte flambée. Nicely prepared, though the tarte flambée needed a bit more flavor. One interesting omission: no bread unless it was ordered a la carte and paid for separately. That seemed especially odd when moules marinières are made with broth to sop up! Noise level was pretty high for a fancy-ish restaurant.

    This dinner was everything. The roasted chicken was to die for, and we had to tear ourselves away from the sweet potato fries. Would definitely recommend the espresso martini. 10/10, would recommend
