   Upstairs was quite busy, took a while to get drinks. My red snapper wasn’t deboned correctly so it was hard to eat. Ribeye was amazing, drinks were great, DJ was playing a great mix. Overall had a good time.

   We have been dining here for several years. I can honestly say that this was the most horrible service. We made reservations for standard room. We end up in the loud balcony. Waitress came over only 3 times. We have to ask for refills. They picked up my wife’s plate while she was still picking on it. To pay $175 and receive unpolished service is ridiculous. Fix the wait staff in the balcony they all look as if they don’t want to be there! URGHH!!!

   It was so cold in the balcony with the fans in and I asked several times to cut off the fan

   Having dined at the flagship Le Colonial in Lake Forest, IL I was excited to try their Houston outpost and it lived up to its standards. This is a beautiful restaurant. Large yet cozy and romantic. The main dining room is on the ground floor and a sexy bar with seating on the second floor. Our table was on the side surrounded by palms and perfect for people watching. What we ordered: Lychee Martini and Dirty Martini Crispy Shrimp & Pork Egg RollSpicy //Yellowfin Tuna Tartare //Spicy Chicken Soup// Lotus Root Salad Bottle of Pinot Gris Spicy Shrimp Stir Fry with Rice//Pickled Vegetables The rolls are great and tartare is knockout spectacular. The soup and lotus root salad are delicious. The stir fry fell below my expectations. The food is delicious but not spectacular. What this restaurant does well is their impeccable service and table service. When I say table service I mean cleaning table between meals and arranging the table for dinner before setting down dishes. My pet peeve is servers expecting guests to arrange table to receive dishes on the table before clearing out appetizer course. This is a beautiful place for romantic dinner or groups and either way you will not be disappointed.

    We went to celebrate my father in law's birthday and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, service was great and the food and drinks were delicious. We had a great time!
