    Greatly enjoyed our meal tonight! Service was attentive and friendly. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented, with generous portions. Nice selection of wine and variety of dishes available. Ambiance is relaxed yet elegant.

    Lovely setting and service was good. Food was excellent as expected from a French restaurant. I think that the ambiance in the evening would be better but don’t be put off from a lunchtime experience. The food and wine is fabulous.

    Excellent food and great service. Dining room has upscale bistro vibe. Competitive pricing with surrounding area. Experience could be improved with table linens and cloth napkins. Overall, very pleased with our experience.

    Truly a wonderful authentic French bistro experience in the heart of Edinburgh. Service was swift and efficient while being very professional. Both the appetizers and entrees were delicious, which many restaurants fail to do. The sauces were key to many dishes as is often the case in French restaurants, and they were well prepared at Le Bistrot. Cognac for dessert was a nice way to end the evening. All was well priced for the quality.

    The restaurant was located at the center of the Edinburgh town center, which means we could enjoy a nice walk around the antique stairs and shops right after the meal. But I would say, the service and food exceeded the convenience of the location that I would still go even it is located in the outside of city center, it was so cozy, friendly and delicious :-)! I was with my life-time mentor and hubby and we all really enjoyed the small conversations and the time spent together! Thank you!

    I have been to Le Bistrot a couple of times before. Have always found the food, service and staff all to be excellent. Also, the lunch menu is very good value for money and the food is very tasty. I would thoroughly recommend it to any of my friends and I look forward to going back again in the very near future.
