Created by the founders of El Tiempo Cantina, Houston’s First Family of Tex Mex, Laurenzo’s Restaurant features the other side of their family’s Italian, Mexican and American Culinary Heritage. The menu, one of the largest in the city, is packed with recipes dating back generations, and includes fresh Gulf Seafood, Prime Rib, and home-made pasta.     Food and service was wonderful, as usual. The restaurant was not full by any means, and they sat our table of four older adults directly across from a table of 10 or more screaming running 13-year-olds that were having a birthday party while their parents were at the bar. I do believe the host/manager should have been a little more aware that four adults may not have enjoyed their experience as much sitting there. We found it very distracting and annoying. There were many tables and booths. Open closer to the middle or front of the restaurant.

    Service manager Beto was outstanding! We came on Thanksgiving and I can’t tell you enough how kind and professional the staff were. Our server Oscar was the cherry on top! Food was top tier, I recommend the crab fingers and prime rib! We will be back, the mom and pop feel of the place reminds me of family. 👏🏽

    Milton was a great server; kept on top of the flow of the meal. The Thanksgiving day meal special was excellent! Nice to have a taste of prime rib, beef and turkey. Sides were excellent as well. Good value for the price.
