   Three of us tried the chef’s journey for brunch and the 4th person had the chicken and waffle. Everyone enjoyed the watermelon salad and we also loved the whipped goat cheese. Two ordered the salmon and grits and one order of shrimp and grits. The salmon was a hit with the two that ordered it but I had the shrimp and grits and didn’t love it. Something with the sauce didn’t quite work for me. But the pineapple bandito was phenomenal as was the torte for dessert. The vibe at the restaurant was excellent. As we were celebrating two birthdays, Latha made a big deal about it and our birthday folks were regarded highly with both a comp dessert and a small gift. I will definitely be back to sample an evening menu. The service was OUTSTANDING. The employees were attentive and kind. It was the very best place to celebrate our birthdays and ourselves. Do not miss this Phoenix gem!!

   We live in downtown Phoenix and unfortunately waited way too long to visit Latha. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we walked into the building. Perfect evening to celebrate a birthday. Thanks !

   Majorly underwhelming and overall disappointing. It was great to try once but find it astonishing this is considered an OpenTable icon.

   I was underwhelmed with the presentation. The restaurant was not busy when I arrived. I was seated in a remote corner and the server took a very long time to even recognize me. The drinks and food delivery was out of order. The food came too quickly and was delivered before the pre-dinner cocktail and the wine that I wanted to enjoy with my meal was brought after I was half through the meal. The food was decent. I probably will not be back. And unless you find a remote parking spot, you will be forced to pay $15.00 for Valet parking.

   We had a relaxing brunch out on the tree shaded front patio accompanied by cool music from the DJ. The coffee, ice tea, and the food were delicious and different with unfamiliar spices. The service was well paced and gracious. We were told that there is live music for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. We will be back!

   The food was wonderful but the service was about as bad as you can get. The chef’s journey special had the two main items sold out. Then the entrees were brought out over 30 minutes from 1st to 6th person. Not great . The check took forever despite many requests.
